Here's a better view Mom throughout her life. I've tried to find more pictures of her that better represent her time with us.

She was born on June 13, 1947 in Lincoln, Illinois.

Her parents are Earl & Doris Hobbs. She has one sister, Beverly, and one brother, Gene.

She has two daughters, Tina and Wendy; two granddaughters, Tiffiany and Tauna. She is also survived by her third husband, Leo.
The things I remember most are her love for coffee, her infectious laugh and her need for speed. She could drink coffee even if it's 110 degrees outside. She had a laugh that could make even the maddest child smile. And she loved to speed. She had one cop trying so hard to catch her speeding, that he didn't notice that her tags had been expired for a year.
When she first graduated high school, she went to beautician school. She had the worst luck when dyeing her hair. I can remember many occasions being picked up and her hair was either purple, green and sometimes even orange. I was always embarrassed, but I can laugh now.
When she was 52, during a routine mammogram, they discovered a mass under her arm. She went in for test, and it was discovered that she had breast cancer. On January 31, 2000, she had a mastectomy. She started chemo in early April. The following week, she had a stroke and never recovered. She died on April 27, 2000.
